Customer CRM for Shopify

Know who your best customers are. Win back the ones drifting away.

WinBack reads your Shopify orders and sorts every customer into simple groups, gives each one a score, and warns you before good customers stop buying.

7-day free trial · $30/month after · Cancel any time

Shopify shows you every order. It does not tell you which of your biggest spenders have not been back in three months. WinBack does.

How it works

Three steps, about two minutes

  1. 1

    Install and approve

WinBack brings in your past orders and customers by itself. No CSV, no setup screens.

  2. 2

    See your groups

Every customer lands in one of 12 plain-English groups with a 0-100 Customer Score.

  3. 3

    Act on it

Open the Win Back list, send a group to Klaviyo or Mailchimp, or write to your best customers yourself.

The 12 customer groups

Every customer, in words you already use

Under the hood it is RFM analysis: recency, frequency and monetary value. On screen it is just a name and a one-line reason. Most money is usually won back from Big Spenders Going Quiet andAt Risk, so start there.

What is RFM analysis?
  • Best CustomersBought recently, buy often and spend the most.
  • LoyalBuy again and again and spend well.
  • Becoming LoyalBought recently and are starting to come back more.
  • NewMade their first order recently.
  • Bought RecentlyBought recently but haven't spent much yet.
  • Buying Less LatelyGood customers who haven't ordered for a while.
  • Going QuietFew orders, and it's been a while.
  • At RiskUsed to buy often, then stopped.
  • Big Spenders Going QuietSome of your biggest spenders have stopped buying.
  • InactiveBought a little, a long time ago.
  • GoneBought once or twice, then disappeared.
  • Never BoughtSigned up, but never ordered.

Questions

Frequently asked

What does WinBack do?
WinBack reads your Shopify orders and puts every customer into one simple group, such as Best Customers, Going Quiet or Gone. Each customer also gets a Customer Score from 0 to 100 and a risk of leaving (Low, Medium or High), so you can see who to thank and who to win back.
How is this different from Shopify's own customer segments?
Shopify segments are filters you have to write yourself, for example "spent more than X and last ordered before Y". WinBack does that thinking for you: it scores every customer on how recently they bought, how often and how much, sorts them into 12 ready groups, and keeps those groups up to date as new orders come in.
Do I have to set anything up?
No. Right after you install and approve the app, WinBack imports your past orders and customers. Small stores are ready in under a minute; larger stores keep importing in the background while you look around.
How does WinBack decide a customer is at risk?
It compares the days since their last order with a rule that fits your business. On Auto, WinBack learns how long your customers usually wait between orders (it needs at least 20 repeat orders to do this) and sets the rule for you. You can also choose Frequent, Regular or Occasional buying, or type your own number of days.
Does it work with Klaviyo and Mailchimp?
Yes. Paste your API key, pick the groups you want, and WinBack sends those customers over with tags for their group and VIP Level. Only customers who agreed to marketing emails in Shopify are added as subscribers.
How much does it cost?
One plan: $30 every 30 days with every feature and no limit on customers or orders. New stores get a 7-day free trial, and billing goes through your normal Shopify bill. You can cancel any time by uninstalling the app.
Does it work in my currency?
Yes. Spending is compared with your own other customers, not with fixed dollar amounts, so the groups make sense in SEK, AUD, GBP or any other currency.
What happens to my data if I uninstall?
When you uninstall, Shopify asks us to delete your store's data and we do. We keep only your store's address and how many trial days it used, so the free trial cannot be restarted. Details are in our privacy policy.
